PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Server Administrator and Web Developer, in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Engineering & Information Technology | Enterprise Client Operations | Operating Systems Delivery Administrator

This is an admin role and demands an individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously including; troubleshooting complex issues/performing root cause analysis, assisting in the development of new processes, working with cross functional teams, and handling customer escalations.

Responsibilities may include but may not be limited to the items below.

  • Assisting with development, testing, and maintenance of existing Operating Systems Deployment environment (SCCM)

  • Assisting in troubleshooting and remediation of vulnerabilities identified by RC Security team (mostly patch related)

  • Assisting in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of Windows 7 to 10 In Place upgrade failures

In general - Project Planning & Execution: Responsible for Project tasks including: planning, reporting, data collection, analysis, execution, and leadership of projects that involve assigned areas of responsibility.

  • Develop requirements, deliverables, & execution plan

  • Assist with management of project scope and budgeting

  • Oversee execution team to ensure successful completion of deliverables in alignment with project timeline and budget

  • Escalation Management - Responsible for communication, execution, and disposition of all customer escalated issues for assigned areas of responsibility. Including the facilitation of issue resolution as part of cross-functional team .

Successful candidates will have 2-5+ years experience in a corporate environment with the following:

  • Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)

  • Powershell scripting

  • Visual Basic scripting

  • Client computer hardware

  • Large enterprise environment with tiered IT support

  • Working in a cross functional environment
