Patten CAT Equipment Services Manager in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Monday - Friday8am - 5pm

Overview

This person will be responsible for managing all aspects of our Equipment Management Services, including our Condition Monitoring and Customer Value Agreements.

Basic Duties

Responsible for managing the day to day operations relating to Condition Monitoring and Customer Value Agreements.

Provide leadership and direction as required to acheive the highest level of customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Ensure dealership services meet or exceed customer expectations and help resolve customer issues.

Oversee productivity and performance including conducting annual reviews, administering disciplinary action as necessary, promoting safety in the workplace and helping to lead technical and professional development.

Work with Product Support, Customers, Sales, Service and Parts to acheive goals set by Cat as well as internal goals.

Work with Product Support Adminstration Manager to develop long range plans for growth of our Equipment Management offerings.

Creation of reports to assist the group with their duties and ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Associates Degree or equivalent experience required.

Must be a self-starter with good time management, planning, and organizational skills with a commitment to detail.

Must have the ability to express ideas and influence others in a positive manner to accomplish long term goals.

Ability to write professional business communication by email or letter is required.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and customer service skills are needed.

Computer literate, PC experience with programs such as Microsoft, Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

This position works in an office and warehouse/shop environment. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 50lbs. May be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields) when needed. The noise level in the warehouse/shop environment is usually moderate to high and office environment noise level is usually moderate to low. May intermittently sit at a desk for a period of time to answer telephone calls and write or use a keyboard to communicate through email. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. 30% of travel is required. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
