Across multipleenergy-intensive industries, the business provides customers with end-to-end product and servicesolutions that help ensure the reliability and protection of their electrical infrastructure.The Fabrication Technician - 1st shift will set up and operate a variety of fabrication machine toolsand processes, including numerical controlled (NC), to perform operations such as shearing,punching, forming, stamping, painting, milling, drilling, tapping, and brazing. In this role, you will beresponsible for producing high quality finished components that support four internal production lines as well as direct customer shipments.Typical Hours: 7am - 3pm2019-01-31Manufacturing/Production Workers Tasks: As the Fabrication Technician, you will: Use a variety of computer software to manage production orders, view drawings, and program machines. Layout bend lines and miters. Set up machines for a large variety of different components. Use variety fixtures, jigs, and templates to ensure quality and repeatable output. Select feeds, speeds, and other settings on various machines. Work from 2D and 3D drawings, sketches, verbal, and written instruction. Operate finish processes, such as Painting and Plating, requiring thickness and adherence test .Be responsible for maintaining tooling. Be responsible for cleaning both equipment and tooling. Perform required preventative maintenance and complete all documentation. Support continuous improvement processes through LEAN initiatives. Requirements: High School Diploma / GED. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability and willingness to work overtime, as required.
