Cargill Production Operator in Buffalo, Iowa

Cargill Salt, a business unit of Cargill, Incorporated, is a leader in the industry, providing salt, service and solutions to the food, water conditioning, agricultural, industrial, and packaged ice control markets.
Perform tasks in the bagging and shipping/receiving area to ensure proper production, loading and shipping of packaged salt products, by operating equipment such as bagging machines, shipping computers, and pallet inverters.
Operate forklift for the transfer of palletized product for storage and loading within the warehouse and shipping areas
Utilize computers to check work orders/schedule, print shipping paperwork and labels
Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Be 18 years or older
Must have a valid Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Basic computer skills
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in elevated areas (4ft and above)
At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment
High School diploma or Equivalent
Mechanical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
