Iowa Employer Operations Technician - Entry (1568) in BOXHOLM, Iowa

This position will be responsible for outside operations functions to benefit the customers of Landus Cooperative while maintaining clean and safe facilities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Greet all customers promptly and courteouslyAssist in all aspects of the elevator operations 1. Receiving and unloading grain operations2. Grain drying operations3. Measuring grain inventory on a weekly/monthly basis4. Grain train loading operations including cleaning and sealing cars5. Keeping facility clean, safe and housekeeping records currentAssist in all aspects of the fertilizer and chemical operations1. Measure inventory and report it to the supervisor2. Assist in unloading bulk and packaged product3. Provide customer service by and loading chemical product orders4. Maintain and repair equipment as needed5. Keeping facility clean, safe and housekeeping records currentBe willing to perform these duties at other Landus Cooperative locations as needed.Perform equipment and facility maintenance.Champion of safety compliance throughout organization. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid state motor vehicle operatoris license. This position requires the safe operation of a motor vehicle to perform the essential functions of the job. The employee must meet the qualifications set forth in our motor vehicle safety policy.
