Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Seed Technician to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for forklift operation, quality inspection of products, providing assistance on process lines, and performing indoor seed processing and packaging tasks. These tasks may involve receiving, scanning, cleaning, treating, sorting, counting, labeling, and warehousing seed. Additionally, you will be responsible for organizing, moving, and placing seed into storage, and ensuring inventory accuracy using electronic inventory systems. Please note that this is an entry-level position, and no previous experience is necessary.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in BOONE, IA.

Work Environment

You will be working from Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm. During busy seasons starting from July, you may be required to work on a rotating monthly shift which includes overnight shifts from 8:00pm to 6:30am. Extended hours may be requested during peak season. You will be working in groups of 10-12 people inside the plant. Dress code is casual but steel toe shoes are required (which can be expensed), and other safety gear such as hard hat, hi-vis, and safety glasses will be provided.
