Title: Part-Time Student-Reliability Engineering-Ankeny IA - 68443
The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.
Reliability Engineering is responsible to determine the likelihood that a product will perform its intended function over an extended duration under encountered use conditions. We work hand in hand with product verification and validation teams as a member of product research and development teams.
Deliver the Crop Care Uptime strategy to the local and satellite design units encompassing global Application Equipment, Planting, Air Seeding and Tillage.
Learn tools for risk identification and mitigation processes within Architecture, Integrated Systems, Product Development, and Continuous Improvement.
Deliver comprehensive reliability plans within product development by utilizing customer application failure and use data.
Provide accelerated life test targets for comparative lab studies.
Perform reliability growth analysis calculations.
Review field test events for development program actions
Participates in training.
Participates in developmental assignments to gain experience.
Assists management in identifying issues and proposing resolutions.
Performs activities according to project plans and schedule.
What It Takes
Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Systems Engineering; others may apply
Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university
Graduation date of 2022 or later
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis, when requested
15-16 hours/week during the academic year
35-40 hours/week outside of the academic year

Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Familiarity with product lifecycles and agricultural machinery
Comfortability with statistical data analysis
Demonstrated ability to complete self-directed work
Desire to learn new concepts
Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
