Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

Iowa State University Dining Services is seeking applicants for a Vending Machine Supplier position. Under general supervision, this position supplies, services, and collects cash from assigned vending machines daily. This position also cleans and maintains proper sanitation of assigned vending machines displayed in a variety of locations on and off the Iowa State University Campus.

The duties of this position require the ability to drive and operate a University vehicle, perform simple math calculations, maintain a route schedule, maintain and keep accurate records, and lift up to 60 pounds.

Required Qualifications

Possession of State driver’s and/or chauffeur’s license, AND ability to read, write, and follow instructions.

Special Qualifications

Must be authorized to drive university vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience filling product orders (food, beverage, or similar).

Experience delivering products to multiple locations (food, beverage, or similar).

Customer service experience.

Additional Information

ISU Dining will set the employment dates for this position on an annual basis based on the university calendar and the needs of the unit. Employees will receive their employment dates for the upcoming fiscal year at a minimum of three months in advance. Non-employment dates may be scheduled at any time during the year; however, typically, they surround academic break periods and summer sessions.
