Job Description:

Serves as primary point of contact for campus users of our EAB Navigate platform.

This position provides ongoing broad support, training, and outreach for student services staff and faculty across the campus. Supports campus retention efforts.

Duties include:

Application Administrator for EAB Navigate Platform

  • Configure EAB platform to meet unit and user needs (across the university), including:

  • Assignment/maintenance of user roles

  • Assist with implementation of new release features

  • Addition and configurations of new locations, services, etc.

  • Addition/deletion of tags

  • Administration of elements of progress reports, cases, alerts, etc.

  • Establish and maintain calendar syncing for users

  • Implement and oversee processes related to system security

  • Etc.

  • Participate in meetings/communication with IT, EAB, and key users related to resolution of system issues and enhancements.

Professional Development of Faculty/Staff on EAB

  • Collaborate with EAB Coordinator to develop and provide training opportunities for faculty/staff in the use of all aspects of the EAB system.

  • Offer workshops (on both introductory and advanced topics)

  • Provide one-on-one support- on the job trainings

  • Develop online resources to assist faculty and staff in the use of the system

  • Web resources such as FAQs

  • Online training opportunities

Demonstrate exceptional customer service for students, faculty, and staff.

The University is in the process of implementing a new classification and compensation structure. The impending change is expected to be completed by Fall 2020. Any P&S employee hired through this posting may be assigned a new title and associated pay grade upon the employment start date (and after the initial offer), commensurate with qualifications required for the position. The duties and responsibilities of the posted position, in addition to compensation offered, will not be affected by this process.
