Insight Global Install Technician in Ames, Iowa

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Technician in a 6-month Contract-to-Hire role for a client of ours in Ames, IA. This candidate will be working with internet, television, and security systems. The hiring manager is looking for someone who can be trusted to get work done in a timely and professional manner. Candidates will be expected to follow direction from the Project Manager, and also a PM Tool called Base Camp that lays out project details and to-dos.

Skills and Requirements

  • At least 6+ months of construction manual labor work

  • Electrical experience with a variety of the following:

Fiber Optics, Cat 5, Cat 6, Ethernet cables such as RJ45 or RG6, Coaxial, and Copper Cable Management Certifications null
