1st Shift:6:00AM to 4:00PM (Plant 1) or 4:30AM to 2:30PM (Plant 2)Starting Pay: $16.74Grindroom Team Member1st Shift:6:00AM to 4:00PM (Plant 1) or 4:30AM to 2:30PM (Plant 2)Performing the following tasks in the grind roomSupplying meat to the grind room from the meat receiving cooler using a pallet jack and transports raw meat to the grinderInspects meatGrind meatRemoves pallets and trash from the grind roomOperates a metal detector belt and augerAll team members must abide by all of Burke's plant safety rules!Requirements of the Grindroom team member include:Ability to learn and perform multiple positions (training will be provided)Work in temperatures 40-50 degrees and 32 degrees in the coolerBeing able to operate an electric pallet jack (in-house training provided)Ability to work in an environment that is fast pacedBeing able to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to do repetitive tasksStanding, walking, pushing, lifting, bending, stepping up and downOperating food processing equipmentFollowing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)Fill in for other plant positions as necessary (additional pay provided for higher pay grade position)Basic Math skillsPerform any and all duties as assigned by SupervisorQualifications:18 years of age or older and 6 months of work history is required.Electric pallet jack experience is a plus.Packroom Team MemberStarting Pay: $16.741st Shift:6:30AM to 4:30PM (Plant 1) or 4:30AM to 2:30PM (Plant 2)Packroom Team MemberPerforming repetitive tasks associated with the packaging of meat productWork stations include: Inspecting product quality, assembling boxes, filling bags with meat, sealing bags, weighing bags and may have to stack boxes on palletsAssist with the coordination and running of a food processing lineAll team members must abide by all of Burke's plant safety rules!Requirements of the production team member include:Ability to learn and perform multiple positions (training will be provided)Work in temperatures 40-50 degrees and 32 degrees in the coolerBeing able to operate an electric pallet jack (in-house training provided)Ability to work in an environment that is fast pacedBeing able to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to do repetitive tasksStanding, walking, pushing, lifting, bending, stepping up and downOperating food processing equipmentFollowing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)Fill in for other plant positions as necessary (additional pay provided for higher pay grade position)Basic Math skillsPerform any and all duties as assigned by SupervisorQualifications:18 years of age or older and 6 months of work history is required.Burke Corporation is a leader in the production of pizza toppings and other fully cooked meats.
