Job Description:

  • Help employees with questions or concerns.

  • Ensure OSHA compliance

  • Perform EHS audits

  • Review employee safety programs and recommend improvements, such as:

  • Confined Spaces

  • LOTO (lock out tag out)

  • Fall protection

  • PIT (Power Industrial Trucks)

  • Emergency Response Plan

  • Machine guarding

  • Press safety

  • Electrical Safety

  • Contractor management (EHS)

  • PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)

  • Suspended equipment (crane, hoist)

  • Industrial Hygiene Plan

  • Asbestos program


  • Ergonomics

  • Lead and drive special EHS assignments

  • Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to occupational illnesses and accidents.

  • Review plans and specifications for new machinery and equipment to make sure they meet safety requirements

  • Support implementation of WCM (Safety & Environmental Pillar)

  • Develop risk analysis

  • Support incident investigation process

  • Exposure/interactions with state and federal regulatory agencies.

  • Other duties may be assigned

Function Overview:

Supporting safety continuous improvement and best in class for safety efforts, designed to increase the safety of the work environment and reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing operations, actively participate in special task force assignments and special projects, lead and drive change towards a progressive safety culture.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Health & Safety Engineering or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in an industrial setting with ergonomics experience and training.

Preferred Requirements:

  • CPE, CSP or CIH certifications prefered but not required.

  • Experience working with onsite Occupational Health Clinic is a plus.

  • Demonstrate ability to achieve results with efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Ability to teach others and work cooperatively with people at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability in change management and conflict resolution

  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of EHS programs

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrate ability to achieve results with efficiency and effectiveness

  • Ability to teach others and work cooperatively with people at all levels of the organization

  • Experience with Google (docs, sheets and slides preferred).

  • Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.

  • Ability to work with others collaboratively.

  • Strong organizational skills.
